I finally got a chance to use two of the DM combat rules that took me months to understand - sort of understand.
This episode will be the last until things settle down for me and my work schedule, apologies for the out of the blue hiatus - but fingers crossed I manage to level out my life haha.

See ya next time - hopefully my life won't be as hectic
Weirdly been on this kick of wanting this whole Player's handbook to be over and done with so that we can see our friends in person again. So that's what today's episode is about. Honestly, everyone has feelings like this and I want everyone to know, its okay, and we can all rant about it until the day comes when we can get things to back to normal.

Little bit of a short one - mostly because I couldn't figure out what to talk about this week. However, I rant about roleplay for this one - maybe you'll glean something from it.

Today, I ramble about how I make my games, specifically the various jobs and quests. The amount of planning I put into my sessions is basically a tangled web of ideas.

And we are back!
Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet where I talk about my love for tabletop games. Today, I gush a little about my nerd weekend where I played three games.

I'm glad I'm back from my little holiday break, fingers crossed for continued growth!
This episode was an obvious excuse to talk about myself being a player and some of my character builds - but that's okay.
Also I'll be taking a break for the holidays, so I'll see you all in the new year for the next episode!

I also want to give a continued shout out to Arcane Anthems for the music used in my intro and outro portions of my show. He has a patreon - he makes free fantasy music for people to use for their games/ other projects. Just want to thank him again for letting me use this track, it's called Shillelagh (Spirit of Brynn), and thank you for providing a great service to giant nerds like myself

Today's show is a bit of a continuation from episode 3 - following the same theme of helping out my fellow DMs, particularly our new baby dungeon masters looking to know what to do and what to expect.
So welcome to the advice corner! Please grab a seat and chill out with me as I discuss advice I want to share with you all about what to do keep an eye out for as a new DM/GM.

I still feel like a beginner DM, however today I'm sharing some skills I've learnt, tips and tricks to generally help you as a DM.
It's not a comprehensive list, just some stuff that I'm currently implementing into my games.
Aka - this episode is me rambling, attempting to explain how I am as a dungeon master.

Playing tabletop games usually require meeting in person to play them - however with social distancing going on, that makes things trickier. Luckily there are a number of tools and resources that lets us play online. I'll be talking about a few of those this episode.
If you want to check the sites I spoke about today - https://linktr.ee/CarpeDM
Again I'm not sponsored or being told to plug these resources, I just want to share this information with everyone to try out.
