Welcome to my true crime series, Gulf Coast Confidential where, from murders to mysteries, I explore some of the saltier stories that surface in Northwest Florida and all along the Gulf of Mexico.
Gulf Coast Confidential Conversations is a companion series I've started with co-host Pam Hill to discuss the crimes I cover. Pam's sister, Sharon Aydelott was brutally killed by her son on Christmas Eve 2013, and she is passionate about helping others learn from her tragedy. In this episode, we talk about the case that
inspired my story, Done it Plenty. It's the story of a federal prosecutor who police say flew across the country carrying toys, gifts, and lubricant for a 5-year-old girl who he had arranged to have sex with. The case was shocking and as Pam and I discuss, so was community reaction.
Here's Cartoon Panties and a Plane Ticket.
