May 11, 2015 Retro Fandango Ep. 15 - Game of Groans (Spoiler Free!)

personally love this episode although it was the cause of much
anguish on my end. Attempting to convince Mr. Vox that he was
premature to base his opinion of Game of Thrones after only 2
episodes went as well as asking Dr. Johnny Fever to listen to a Bee
Gees album. (A modern reference for you kids out there!) Maybe doing
it while P “I've read the books so I know better than the people
who write a show for HBO” 1 was in the house. Dah, well. I may
have lost this battle but there is still a war to look forward to.
We also work in some comments from the listeners at the
CartridgeBros.ca forums about their thoughts on Game of Thrones and,
of course, amiibos. (I really hope this is the last time I have to
type amiibos in a RF podcast description for a long time.) We also
discuss Spoilers, the new Daredevil show on Netflix, the Legendary
Fart heard in Cartridge Club Episode 20, Metroid Prime, Star
Fox 64, and face off a Appetite for Destruction with Highway To Hell
– A.K.A. The Greatest Rock 'n Roll album of All Time. Lastly, just
want to apologize for my over modulated mic. Still working out the
bugs with my new audio board. I'll get it right next episode!

Keeping the trend of great Gamecube games going, the club was playing Metroid Prime this month. Sadly with P1 off keeping the galaxy at peace, it was up to P2 to host the show on his own.
