Is co-host Corey a bastard? We ask these hard-hitting questions and more on this week’s episode of Cartwright! A Seinfeld Podcast as we breakdown and review “The Hot Tub” (Timemachine)! Silliness aside, this was such a fun episode to discuss! The pacing is fantastic and we enjoy what all the characters are doing. We hope you have as much fun listening to it as we did recording it!

Original air date: October 5, 1995
This week on Cartwright! A Seinfeld Podcast we discuss the debut of another famous side-character, Bob Cobb aka The Maestro… aka Mark Metcalf from Animal House (1978) and the Twisted Sister music videos lol. A fact that only really impresses co-host Corey. Plus, we finally get an actual storyline for Jerry this episode. If you’ve been keeping track, this is the first time this season he isn’t relegated to ridding plot-shotgun.
ATENTION: The next episode (The Wink) will be Patreon exclusive!

We’re back from vacation and ready to tackle a new season of Seinfeld! Side note: This marks the first season we aren’t watching it on Hulu. Ahhh the good ol’ days…. So, what did we think of The Engagement and the return of Susan? You’ll have to listen to find out but we will say this, it was better than The Trip Part 1 lol ;p
ATENTION: The next episode (The Postponement) will be Patreon exclusive!

What a roller coaster of a season! From the epic highs of a fully-formed Puddy to the epic lows of The Understudy (not Bette Midler, as you know… it’s complicated lol) this has been a wild ride, and Adam and Corey have had a blast the entire time! We hope you enjoy this Season 6 wrap-up episode and, as per usual, we’ll be taking a week off between seasons.

Seinfeld Episode 23 (Season 6) Summery: “Jerry and George are accused of injuring Bette Midler during a softball game so that Jerry’s girlfriend, her understudy, can take the stage in their Broadway show. Elaine convinces Frank Costanza to translate her manicurist’s suspicious conversations. Depressed, Elaine meets J. Peterman on the street and lands herself a new job.”
Original air date: May 18, 1995
“Rochelle, Rochellllllllllle!” Woohoo! We are finally at the end of Seinfeld season six, but was it worth the wait? Lets just say, both Adam and Corey agreed that their mental score before watching the episode for review was much higher than what they both ended with at the end of this discussion. How bad could it really be though? Spoiler Alert: this episode’s rating is tied with The Trip for one of our co-hosts. Oh myyyyyyyyy….

Seinfeld Episode 22 (Season 6) Summery: “Puddy prepares for a hockey game by painting his face like a devil. George tells his girlfriend that he loves her. Kramer gets into a fight with a monkey at the zoo.”
Original air date: May 11, 1995
“Don’t mess with the devils! Hssssss!” Puddy is back and we couldn’t be happier (unlike that Catholic priest he scares lol)! After all, as the main four get more eccentric as the show goes on, Puddy represents the every-person in their world- Someone the viewer can relate to. Plus he asks the hard questions in life like, “How come people don’t have dip for dinner? Why is it only a snack? Why can’t it be a meal, you know?” We don’t understand stuff like that either, Puddy.

Original air date: May 4, 1995
This week on Cartwright! A Seinfeld Podcast, Adam and Corey have fun breaking down and reviewing their favorite show about nothing, but is it really about nothing these days? With all the plot points happening each episode, and the rapid increase in the number of scenes per episode, the boys feel like they don’t get a chance to breathe anymore. Then again, that might not be a bad thing considering the rating we gave this episode.

Seinfeld Episode 20 (Season 6) Summery: “Elaine’s new boyfriend, Puddy, uses one of Jerry’s sexual moves. Kramer mistakenly receives vanity license plates that read ‘Assman.’”
Original air date: April 27, 1995
“I’m Cosmo Kramer, the Assman!” Holy moley, what an episode! Not only do we get the Assman but we also get the first appearance of a fully-formed Puddy played by Patrick Warburton! And, to make matters better (that’s not a phrase) Adam helps Corey piece together a joke in this episode that he’s never understood. It’s one helluva ride! You might even say that it’s one in a million ;)

Seinfeld Episode 19 (Season 6) Summery: “George is upset by his girlfriend’s drawing of him. Jerry’s flea-infested apartment forces his parents into Elaine’s luxury hotel suite.”
Original air date: April 6, 1995
This week on Cartwright! the boys break down ‘The Doodle,’ a fun but inconsistent episode of Seinfeld. Throw in a terrible opening standup and deplorable behavior by the Seinfelds and it’s a wonder we gave this episode anything higher than a 2 lol! It’s a testimony to how strong all the other comedy bits are that they really offset the meh-ness of this late season 6 entry. The boys still had a lot of fun discussing it, as always!
