How much of you needs to be renewed?
Michael Lodge, Speaking Pastor
Why is abiding in Jesus so important? What is the endgame? It may be shocking to come to the realization that our personal salvation makes up only a little percentage of the content of the New Testament. Most of what Paul, James, Peter, and John write about centers around our need to be renewed after salvation. This is a process we refer to as sanctification. Today, we look at Ephesians 4 and ask the question, "How much of you needs to be renewed"?

Today we look at Paul's prayer in Philippians and see the daily realities that helped him abide in prayer daily. Paul calls to us to look to Him and imitate him as he imitates Jesus. What can we catch from Paul's daily prayer life?

Prayers of Delight
Michael Lodge, Speaking Pastor
Desperation may be what it takes to rightly position us before God. But thank God that’s not what He uses to keep us there. Our seasons of desperation can be defined by our delight in an all sufficient Savior! Today, we look at Psalm 63 and apply delight to the prayer acronym of A.C.T.S. We want to grow as disciples in our love and practice of prayer. We also want prayers of delight to define our season of desperation.

Prayers of Desperation
Michael Lodge, Speaking Pastor
Jesus calls us to Abide in Him. He gives us His Word as a foundation to know Him and prayer as a means to communicate with Him. Today, we look at the motivation of desperation. Desperation rarely feels great, but it serves as a motivation that leads to sobering self evaluation. How can desperation position us before God and provide us an opportunity to bond with our Savior?
