Paul finally reaches Bethany, but fails in his attempts to make her come back home. Bethany, worried about her family, stays put and shoos Paul away. Meanwhile, Locke figures out Lauren is just using him, although he's not surprised. While out for a walk around the lake he stumbles upon Georgia the whale who is crying in agony.
