めざまし英会話12回目はOn a taxi to the airport（タクシーで空港まで行く）です。日本でもそうですが、大きい空港だと航空会社によってターミナルが違うので、間違ってしまうと移動などが大変ですよね。事前にどこのターミナルか調べておくと良さそうです☆ドライバーさんのwe’ll be there in a flash. が何だか頼もしく聞こえますね^^

今回も曲の最初はリスニングモード、後半はフレーズの後にbeep音＋空白がありますので、繰り返し声に出してリピートしてみましょう～。

【Driver】Hi, would you be Ms. Tanaka?

【Y】Yes, that would be me.

I reserved the cab.

【D】Good, is that all your luggage?

【Y】Yes that’ll be it.

【D】So, where would you like to go?

【Y】Could you take me to the airport, please?

【D】Do you know which terminal you’ll be flying out from?

【Y】Umm, let me check.

It’ll be Japan Airlines… so that’ll be terminal 2.

【D】Got it.

【Y】Do you mind me turning on the radio?

【D】Not at all. Please go ahead.

【Y】Do you think you could hurry?

I’m actually in a bit of a rush.

【D】Sure thing, we’ll be there in a flash.

【Y】Great, I appreciate it.
