Finance Minister Tito Mboweni has tabled a Special Appropriation Bill in the National Assembly, which paves the way for power utility Eskom receive a 60-billion-rand bailout from the current financial year to 2020/21 financial year. Mboweni has also announced cash injections for South African Airways, the SABC and Denel. He says the money will be handed over in chunks, as these entities will be required to meet certain conditions.
