Filmed 5/18/2025Today's episode is brought to you by Taylor from way up in Wisconsin! Stumbled across a new bottle to try up here that had always piqued our interest - TX Blended Whiskey. It's marketed as a slightly sweet, honey butter, and no burn delight but will that be what's experienced? Taylor goes and also covers some of the many beers he has had while being in the area. This short Quarter Cask episode is a little more digestible for your morning commute and helps dial in on one specific thing, usually with just one of us.
This episode is not monetarily benefitted by or sponsored by Firestone & Robertson, any usage of their TX Whiskey logo, or any likeness, was pulled from a Google Search and mashed up using Canva. We're just here for fun and the love of it, not looking to make any money off of it yet.

Presenting - Starward Australian Double Grain Whisky. Jump into this futuristic star-bound spirit from the land down under! From the great city of Melbourne arrives the delighted and familiar flavors of wheat and malted barley but with a soft twist contributed by its unique origin point. Or just some cheddar from a local market? Who knows! Find the pairing that makes your heart happy and if you need to find some recommendations (we’ve got the links below!). Share your experiences with us on social media!
This episode was enjoyed alongside a glass of Dettling Straight Alabama Bourbon whiskey, check them out at https://dettling1867.com/home.

Welcome back!
The Brothers took an unexpected hiatus and this episode was actually recorded back in October 2020! We hope you all had a fantastic holiday season and have been staying safe.
In this episode we talked a little about some of the fun whiskey communities from around the world that we are a part of or are familiar with, all while sharing a couple of the new special releases from the Maker's Mark distillery. Everything from Ardbeg, Maker's Mark, and even Bruichladdich, they all have communities that come together for their shared love of the great water of life.
We also touch on (and even listen to!) the fantastic friendships we make through those communities - such as Mr. Robin Laing, a musician from the UK. We got permission from Mr. Laing to share a small snippet of his most recent album and we highly recommend going and finding the rest of it on whatever platform you stream music on. **Holding Gold by Robin Laing**
The Brothers really appreciate you coming back to listen to us yet again and hope you'll stay tuned and subscribed to hear and see what we come up with next. Make sure to hit that like button, download it, listen to it, share it, and then go follow us on Instagram at @brothers_in_whisky.
Cheers!
