The Book of Titus is a letter written to the Pastor Titus who is serving in Crete a Greek Island.  This little letter is designed to help guide and support Titus as he is building the church in the area.

We are going to ask the question, "What doors do we need to open?" as we walk through the Biblical Christmas story.  In the Christian vernacular we use "the door" as a cliche to God's activity.  We might say phrases like "God closed that door" or "When God closes a door He opens a window."

The word ADVENT means the arrival of a notable person, thing, or event.  During this teaching series, I hope to challenge us to open the door to these notable arrivals

December 6th - Open the door to your community
December 13th - Open the door to your heart
December 20th - Open the door to a divine encounter
December 24th - Open the door the God's love
January 3rd - Open the door to new opportunities

We have started a new teaching series this fall.  We will be talking through Genesis 12-50.  The series title is Failures & Faith.  There are so many stories throughout the Bible and some of the biggest heroes of our faith are also people with huge failures.  God loves to use our weakness and struggle to show the world who He is.  This is the story of Genesis.  God shaping His community of people in spite of their failures to show the world that He is God.
