Cast the Word

In this episode, we break down the 3rd member of the Trinity and outline the major role the Holy Spirit plays in our life. The Holy Spirit is critical in our Christian walk. But we cannot receive the Holy Spirit in our lives until we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. In the last episode we discussed the story of salvation, and in this episode we discuss who the Holy Spirit is and what He can do to help us in our journey through life.

In part 2 of our PLAY/PAUSE season, we continue discussing the ‘Present’ in our ‘Past, Present, and Future’ series by discussing aspects of the Christian walk in the here and now.

Salvation is undoubtedly the best moment in the Christian journey. And there is no way we can obtain salvation on our own; we need the blood of Jesus for the remission of our sins. Salvation comes when we confess our sins, and believe in the accomplished work of Jesus Christ. There is no other salvation in this world except accepting Jesus as your Lord and savior. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

As we start Part II of our Past, Present, and Future series, we are focusing on the Present in this season titled PLAY/PAUSE. In this season, we are focusing on the important parts of the Christian walk in the here and now.

New season starts this Tuesday. Part II of our 'Past, Present, and Future' series. In the next few episodes we will be focusing on the 'Present' in a season titled 'PLAY/PAUSE'. Listen here for more details.

In this episode, we conclude Part I of the 'Past, Present, and Future' series. And there is no better person to end this season with than Moses. The life of Moses and the Exodus story has a lot of lessons for us to learn from in today's world.

In this season finale of our REWIND segment, we continue discussing the ‘Past’ in our ‘Past, Present, and Future’ series by reviewing classic Bible stories, and the spiritual lessons that are available for our lives today.

Each of us have purpose in our lives. We may have went the wrong way, or made some wrong choices in our past, but there is still hope for all of us today. The story of Jonah offers a lot of hope for us, but in order to fulfill God's purpose in our life, we must obey Him and not ghost Him like Jonah initially did. Don't ghost God and end up in the belly of a fish like Jonah did!

In part 3 of our REWIND season, we continue discussing the ‘Past’ in our ‘Past, Present, and Future’ series by reviewing classic Bible stories, and the spiritual lessons that are available for our lives today.

So many believers today live in a perpetual cycle of defeat. The story of Judges shows us how the nation of Israel too once lived in a similar cycle. But there are things we can do to break the cycle of defeat, and I believe the story of Samson offers some great spiritual advice and examples.

In part 2 of our REWIND season, we continue discussing the 'Past' in our 'Past, Present, and Future' series by reviewing classic Bible stories, and the spiritual lessons that are available for our lives today.

Abraham and Sarah found in the book of Genesis teaches us the power of faith and believing in the impossible. I hope you find encouragement in this episode!

Christ' love for us is by far the greatest love we could ever experience. Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, but we must repent of our sins. In this episode, we wrap up the 'What's Love Got To Do With It?' series and discuss the power of His love. Jesus said that "There is no greater love than to law down one's life for one's friends" (John 15:13). His love for us surpasses anything we can ever know or experience.

The company we keep can be so influential in shaping our perceptions and world view. From a spiritual perspective, there is great importance in surrounding yourself with like minded people especially when you consider how it can impact your spiritual growth and love for one another and for Christ. The company you run with says a lot about the person you are. We can definitely become a product of our environment be that good or bad. Check out this episode as we continue our 'What's Love God To Do With It?' series.
