Christians at the foot of the cross don't leverage their social advantages to "win" - instead we yield our advantages for the sake of the vulnerable. How does this play out for our daily lives?

What does it mean to be a community of the cross? The first thing Paul teaches is that a community of the cross is awake to their biggest problem: sin. When we make peace with sin we endanger ourselves and our church. But a church that take their sin seriously is a church that also takes grace seriously.

Imitation is inevitable - so chose wisely who you imitate. Paul demonstrates a vision of discipleship in the church.

Why pray?

The cross of Jesus not only saves us, but shapes us: into beggars, sojourners, and givers.
