A LEGEND’S LIFE SAGA: Part Three | Resuming where we last were in Part Two, we show out big time for our finale which completes Don’s life saga thus far, for the first and ONLY time ever told, or told on air by the man himself. This go around covering the period from 1992 through 2022, we bring it home full circle to current times as we dive deep into Don’s last 30 years of life. He describes moving into a new home for the final time with his wife Linda, as his son graduates shortly thereafter and he continues reaping the success and benefits of commission in sales in the very solid economy of the 1990s at his job at Superior Industrial Supply. Don sees his daughter get married, becomes a grandpa for the very first time, and ultimately ends up having 3 grandkids in his life by the year 2000. As Don grows older, he tells about long-awaited vacations with his wife Linda he finally felt he earned after decades of hard hours put into the workforce, experiences & tales with his grandchildren over the years, finally settling into a life of retirement at the age of 65 in 2017, & SO MUCH MORE. A LEGEND’S LIFE SAGA: Part Two | Picking up where we left off in Part One, we continue Don’s life story, encapsulated and told by The Legend himself for the first time ever on air. This time covering the period from 1972 through 1992, Don tells about going through a whirlwind of different jobs and staggering financial times, just to make ends meet for his family. From the economic hardship seen in the 1970’s, to the eventual repair in the mid and late 1980’s, he saw it all. He tells about achieving one of his life goals from childhood: Buying a house and having a pool table in it. Now a family of 4, and having much bigger responsibilities, Don goes through a series of layoffs along the way, eventually landing a decade-long job at Rust-Oleum. He talks about re-entering the world of pool as his kids get older, how the movie, “The Color of Money” gave billiards a resurgence, marking a great time to get invested again and start participating in more and more tournaments, and SO MUCH MORE! You’ll want to tune in for this man’s podcast performance!

A LEGEND’S LIFE SAGA: Part One | For the first time in the history of our history, The Legendary Don “Papa” Wichmann, our co-host Tim’s grandpa is not only featured on the podcast, but takes the hot seat to tell you the story of his life journey over the course of multiple parts, in exquisite detail to the best of his memory, as we assume more of the interviewer role. Having this year turned 70 years old, we take it back to the early days of Don’s life, covering a period of about March 1952 when he was born through 1972 when he was a young impressionable gentleman as a father for the first time & looking to become an exceptional pool player. Don tells about his days in Catholic school, through attending public high school, to his teenage pool-playing swashbuckling shenanigans, to meeting his future wife Linda, getting married, fatherhood, & so much more. This storytelling is off the charts, we won’t give anything away! Tune in!
