The Bible has been described as many things: holy, best-seller, religious text, instruction manual, myth, love letter, scripture and a religious library to name a few. It is made up of 66 books across several genres, divided into two major sections and originally written in three languages. The Bible's significance as a historical and religious text can’t be overstated, but it is so much more than a book. To kick off this series, we start by exploring what the Bible actually is.
