Jacinta Greene Beatty is one of the organisers of this year’s Castlerea ParkRun, which is being held on Saturday, 11th July. Jacinta chats here with Adrianne about this upcoming event, which is in memory of Douglas Hyde, Ireland’s first President who was born in Castlerea and was the Founder of Conradh na Gaeilge, so you are encouraged to use a cúpla focal on the day. This is a FREE, fun, and friendly event, which you can walk or run, and if you can’t take part in the 5k then just come along as a volunteer or spectator and enjoy the music, talk and refreshments, which will take place in the Trinity Arts Centre, Castlerea.
