How do you see God meeting you when the struggles are real and raw? How does He show you comfort in the hard? I talk about last weeks trip to CA and celebrating a beautiful life of my husbands best friend and how God loves us through the sadness.

When hardship rolls around, when life throws you a curve ball, when fear sweeps out what you know is true…be still. So hard, right? Why does God ask us to be silent in the crisis of life? Let’s talk about the why for a few minutes.

We all desire relevance. What does that look like in our second act of life? I am sharing a tidbit of my story—second act of life.

I am very blessed to have wise friends who surround me and help ground me. They are all in their second act of life. Listen. Glean. And remember how God can use anyone if they say yes. He has a special something just for you, friend, no matter your age.

Purpose. Usefulness. Settling in with my wrinkles. Do you find it hard to grow older? I get it, me too at times. Let’s talk about growing old and how we see each other as we set our eyes on Higher things and what matters in our life today.

As Jesus Followers, we are called to stand in the gap for others through prayer and serve. I have been there from time and time when life is hard and the struggles were unbearable. I am grateful for the ones who stood with me and interceded on my behalf. Who can you stand with today? Whisper a prayer for them and maybe the Holy Spirit will guide you to move forward in a greater way in their life.
