Christmas in Cat Country means

Christmas Wishes. For several years now

Labelle Performing Arts has put together a "Money

Tree" a their studio. They have been kind enough to

bring it in and let us use it to bless a family in need.

Inevitably it is something that is perfectly timed. Today

we got several wishes to help Justin Smoker who is

going through some medical issues. His family just

needed something to help them get ahead and several

different wishes came in to ask for help with their rent

to get them back on track. So that is what this year's

Money Tree is doing. Its purpose is to help Justin and

his mom Lisa take care of rent while they take care of

Justin. Without the Money Tree, we couldn't have

worked out this last wish. Perfectly timed. Listen for

the story on the air through Christmas or catch it on

our website or on our APP. This community of dancers

added $1's, $5's, $20's, and someone put a $100 on

top.. and this effort became hope for a family who just

needed a little bit to get ahead. Merry Christmas!

Shari put in a Christmas Wish for her song Joseph. He is graduating this year. Shari asked for the Cap and Gown to be taken care of. Carly Pearce heard the wish and this is how it went.

Ashley and Gavin are being blessed by Chris and Leeann from Premium Stucco. Chris and Leeann are paying it forward after being recipients themselves several years ago. You rock!

Shari put in a Christmas Wish for her mom. Her dad passed away in April and the roof had some leaks. The family was under a financial hardship and their insurance was up for renewal. Guy Brothers Roofing stepped in to put a new roof on.

Theresa has been hurting. Her Christmas Wish was for something to eat and some essentials. 5 Flags Rotary stepped in to help and make sure she got everything she needed.

Shari sent in a Christmas Wish asking for someone to donate shingles so her family could reroof her mom's house. Guy Brothers Roofing decided they would like to go bigger.
