Cat Drinking Songs

How can you win the heart of a woman, chlorine and cats, and a one-year anniversary.

“My name is Stan Beck. Your pod-casts are so human, so original. I am a fan! Thanks for the work you put into it!”

If you enjoy my music or this podcast, then I like to ask a small favor in each show. Because your help in promoting this album will insure there is a follow-up CD. Here is the music promotion tip of the week:

Go to the shownotes at www.catmusicblog.com where you will find a press release announcing the release of my cat CD. Copy the press release, then email or fax it to your local newspaper or media outlet.

I sent this press release out earlier this year and attracted the attention of a few newspapers and radio stations. Unfortunately, many local papers slip through the loop.

After about a week or two, follow-up on the press release and ask if the newspaper got it and is interested in writing about it. Of course, they can always call or email me to find out more about the album.

Is your cat's oral health something you should think about? And should you support no-kill animal shelters?

“I just discovered your podcast, and I love it! I have 8 cats (and a dog… and a hamster), ages 7 years to 6 months.Re: Podcast #8, Scratching post discussion… I've also found that cats are more likely to use a tripod-style scratching post. I think the angled scratching surface is more comfortable. I bought my cats the Booda Track ‘n Scratch Cat Gym for Christmas, and they love it. It's a great example of this type of scratching post, although I think it would be fairly easy to just make your own.”

“I made my husband cry with your cd! My husband Craig obtained his Irish dual citizenship last year and loves his heritage. He also is quite fond of a good beer and a cute drinking song so the CD was perfect. We will both be volenteering at the Irish festival in March at Fair park and wanted to know if you would be performing? Keep us up to date! Love the Lord of the Pounce! I had dogs growing up. Hubby has made a lover outta of me! We would love to buy you a beer at the festival! let us know!”

Go to one cat community online. Be it a cat forum or a yahoogroup, or whatever. Drop the group an email and ask them if they’ve heard of Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers. Tell them to go to check it out at www.CatDrinkingSongs.com. And tell them how much your love the CD. This won’t take much time to do, but the final result will be tremendous. Thanks!
