Expert: Does Facebook Make Us Moral People? Banning Franklin Graham? Does Facebook Have Too Much Power?
"Has Facebook gotten to big? Almost seventy percent of Americans have a Facebook account. Of those three quarters visit the site daily. Almost half of Americans use Facebook as one of their sources of news. Facebook has become the largest hangout in America.
In corporate terms they are close to a monopoly. At the very least they have become an important part of the information flow and an influencer of our society. But has their growth stayed consistent with their controls and morale maturity?
Recently, Franklin Graham was banned from Facebook. Why? Because of a post protesting North Carolina’s position on bathroom access. Franklin Graham is the son of Billy Graham and certainly has conservative Christian views that not all agree with. But he is an American and has the right to express his opinion and practice his religion.
When the leadership of Facebook discovered their misstep, they immediately apologized and restored his status. Their explanation for the ban was that one of their fifteen thousand content moderators had determined that Graham’s post was hateful based on his viewpoint.
Wait! They have fifteen thousand people reviewing posts every day to decide if what gets posted is appropriate? Seems like a little bit of Big Brother."

    MARCH OF THE JEW HATERS?
WOMEN'S ISSUES ANALYST: Karen Straughan is a spokesperson for Men's Rights Edmonton, and a contributor to AVoiceForMen.com. She is a prominent Men's Rights Advocate who came to public attention through her infamous YouTube channel titled "GirlWritesWhat." She is a mother of several children, and a published writer of Erotica novels.
Chicago organizers announced they will not host the annual Women’s March amid rising controversy about the national organization’s link with Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan following his anti-Semitic comments.
Farrakhan drew criticism last February when he delivered a speech attended by the national organization’s co-chair with comments like “the powerful Jews are my enemy.” Though leaders of organization condemned his comments a month later, local chapters throughout the country began dissociating from the national group.
The Louisiana Chapter of the liberal organization Women’s March canceled a planned demonstration in New Orleans, citing recent accusations of anti-Semitism by the group’s founders.
The protest, initially planned for Jan. 19, is the latest casualty following shocking reporting that some of the most senior members of Women’s March discussed conspiracy theories about Jews and had close ties to the radical Nation of Islam. Rather than go ahead with the New Orleans protest, organizers said they will instead embark on a listening tour throughout the state.
While allegations of anti-Semitism have torn through the national Women’s March group and a California march was canceled over concerns it would be “overwhelmingly white," Cleveland’s march condemns all forms of discrimination.
“Women's March Cleveland does not condone anti-Semitism, racism, bigotry, sexism, Islamophobia or any other forms of discrimination, and we urge our Jewish sisters in greater Cleveland and elsewhere to march with us,” Women’s March Cleveland organizer Kathy Wray Coleman said in a news release.

  • AUTHOR ROBERT WAHLER
I am a former Christian from years ago who became a Satsangi (disciple) with a mystic Indian Master from India in 1976. Satsangi literally means
    a seeker of truth.
When the gnostic texts from Egypt, came to light, especially the Gospel of Judas, I was amazed to see how similar the teachings were to Eastern Mysticism. Even identical terms and words were found!
What is more mind-blowing is that the whole narrative in the canonical New Testament Gospels is matched line-for-line and in order -- but inverted -- from the mastership succession narratives of James and Peter.
This is the what Dr. Robert Eisenman of Dead Sea Scrolls fame found for orthodox blood salvation doctrine from Paul compared with sources on James and blood-purity observances. Judas -- not Jesus! -- is the sacrifice of "the man who bears me" in the Gospel of Judas.
Why scholars all miss this is a story in itself, as it is due to religious bias. But the fact is, Christian teaching is now seen as derived and fictional, not true and historical. The early Church wanted to, and succeeded in, hiding that James the Just was successor Master.
It is even doubtful that Jesus was real, either, since a real Master would not have required a fictional life-story.
The case against an historical Jesus can google 'Mythicism.' I personally believe 'Jesus' to be a composite creation from the lives of John the Baptist and James, and originally a Pauline heavenly redeemer figure made flesh. The New Testament is therefore merely Church propaganda. Great reading, but not true history!

Teen suicides: are we looking at an epidemic?
International Suicide Prevention, a 501(c)(3) public charity nonprofit
    Henderson, Nevada
    September 25, 2018
    For Immediate Release
    Youth Suicide Statistics
    • Suicide is the SECOND leading cause of death for ages 10-24. (2016 CDC WISQARS)
    • Suicide is the SECOND leading cause of death for college-age youth and ages 12-18. (2016 CDC WISQARS)
    • More teenagers and young adults die from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, stroke, pneumonia, influenza, and chronic lung disease, COMBINED.
    • Each day in our nation an average of over 3,041 suicide attempts are made by young people, grades 9-12. If these percentages are additionally applied to grades 7 and 8, the numbers would be higher.
    • Four out of Five teens who attempt suicide have given clear warning signs.
    • The Youth Risk Behavioral Surveillance System (YRBS) is a survey, conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that includes national, state, and local school-based representative samples of 9th through 12th grade students. The purpose is to monitor priority health-risk behaviors that contribute to the leading causes of death, disability, and social problems among youth in the United States.
What is being done to stop and/or reverse this enormous and growing trend?
International Suicide Prevention (ISP) has been successfully treating suicidal thoughts since 2006.
ISP is the only suicide prevention organization to be using advanced cognitive neuropsychology treatments that have been proven to work on suicidal ideation.
At the forefront of this epidemic ISP is developing the first of its kind, self-help suicide prevention mobile app that will treat suicidal ideation among teens.
The first step in the development stage is geared to target adolescents ages 5 to 24. Afterwards, ISP is expected to expand this program to include: veterans, military, first responders and seniors.
This has all been made possible with the help of behavioral modification scientist Matthew Dovel. Mr. Dovel has been working in the field of cognitive neuropsychology for over 3 decades. He is responsible for discovering a code that unlocks the secret to effectively modifying human behavior.
