The Roman took great delight in the act of scourging, and as the bone-and metal-laced whips tore Jesus' body was ripped to shreds and His blood poured out. Herod Antipas was thrilled to finally be able to meet Jesus. Luke 23:8 tells us that he was "exceeding glad" because he had desired to meet Jesus for a long time and hoped to see a miracle done by Him. but Jesus refused. Jesus was brought before Pontius Pilate, the Roman procurator or governor of Israel. Pilate interrogated Jesus and listened to the accusations of the religious leaders while Jesus remained silent. at the end of the interrogation, Pilate asked Jesus, "Art thou the King of the Jews?" and Jesus responded, "Thou sayest it" (Luke 23:3) and here is the rest of the story

Gripping the sword, Peter swung the sword with all his might and lopped off the right ear of the high priest's servant, Malchus, who had arrived with the authorities to arrest Jesus. but for Peter's sake of his future and ministry Jesus miraculously healed Malchus' ear. It seems that before Judas led a great multitude of Soldiers armed with weapons into the grotto where Jesus and His other diciples had gathered, he warned the chief priests and religious leaders about Jesus's phenomenal power. This may explain why they felt they needed a distinct signal to identify their target and let the troops know they should move in swiftly to make their arrest.

I will share the first episode of Passover Series. We will go through day by day, start from the Garden of Getsemany where Jesus was praying before His arrested. In these Series I will also share sone of the historical backgrounds of the story or the event that happened that time. Learning both the historical backgrounds and Greek language of the Word of God will make us understand more about the event in details and seeing the bigger pictures about what really happened in those days. So stay with me, day by day as I will share these things in chronological order. [2] preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching." we will look closely to what the words Reprove, Rebuke and Exhort means. Good Bible preaching and Spirit-empowered expository teaching shakes people from apathy and keeps them strong. This kind of preaching and teaching is essential to keep the Church focused on victorious living and the fact that they can overcome the world and achieve every dream God has put in their hearts. Previous episodes we were discussing about How the devil's works on a person. our battle is not flesh and blood Paul written to the church in Ephesus. We have learned about the 5 important words that often mentioned in the bible. I explained also what it means when person has a Reprobate mind.
