In this week's episode of Teeing Off, our hosts revisit the vaccine debate after receiving some feedback from our listeners (1:25). The moral component becomes the hot topic of discussion (4:48) as we again ask, "Do we really care about our neighbor?" T's experiences have led him to deal with intrusive thoughts that compound his mental illness and question everything about society (8:30). It has motivated a desire to live away from humans and Saif questions whether he brings it on himself (13:21). Big shout-out to Country Fair for doing nothing and being a microcosm of everything wrong with T's hometown (15:39). Our hosts re-iterate their love for the listeners and that they do not support violence (17:24).

Thank you for joining Sweet T and Saif on this lovely journey back to Colorado. While it's obvious that South Park is a satirical series, Saif simply can't get over the construction paper presentation (1:24). T finds company in the brilliance of Trey Parker and Matt Stone and how they have built themselves up while always being ahead of the game (3:39). Saif recognizes that the creators get away with a lot by using a child's perspective (8:13). T believe that education through media is possible (10:27) and highlights Mr. Garrison and Randy Marsh as characters to be learned from, not necessarily looked up to (16:40). The cultural relevance of the show looms large, with Trey and Matt having won countless awards and also being the target of a Fatwa (18:57). The creators force the audience to look in the mirror and have a real conversation that will hopefully lead to real change (24:36), but at the very least, education (28:28).

The weeks leading up to this episode have been filled with growing distrust between the police and black community. It is the week of April 18th, 2021 as Saif lays out our episode and T emphasizes that he's had it with police shooting people unnecessarily (0:44). He also divulges that his attitude has him torn inwardly as people close to him are police officers (3:02). Saif offers his angle on the matter (6:04) and gets into the how the community of a police interaction often dictates how they handle the situation (8:34). It all comes back to control of power and relying on those in power to lead morally (12:07). This probably won't happen until the right mindset is in place to benefit everybody and we can talk about these issues without confrontation (14:37). We believe the solution is better education and access to resources, especially in communities that have historically been restricted (16:20). Welcome to another light-hearted episode of the Catch The Sky Podcast. Today, Sweet T and Saif share some of their most hilarious stories of upchucking (5:41), before getting into some of the reasons why we do it (6:38). Diarrhea, nor their love for Chunk(s) can be avoided during this conversation (7:27). Stories abound, including cheese sticks (9:55), Stage AE in Pittsburgh (12:40), and dogs (21:54) conclude this entertaining episode. Now that we've broken the ice, tell us some of your favorite puke stories!

Sweet T and Saif re-visit the mission of the show in the third episode of our Behind-The-Scenes series (7:45). They establish that they were brought together for a reason, and part of that reason is to hold those who might commit injustices accountable (12:31). Saif points out that the history we're taught is not the whole truth (19:35), and exposing ourselves to different types of cultures and art can provide levels of education that are never taught in a classroom (21:47). Our hosts wonder what it would be like to have a camera crew follow them along as they make sausage together (25:41). Our hosts are requesting your input for future content, this is your chance to have a direct impact on the show (30:25)!

We are back and excited to share the foundations of our hosts' bromance with you on this episode of the Catch The Sky Podcast. Things start off with the recording of our very first demo (1:55) before Saif highlights that this is a no-nonsense show that is recording live history (6:22). T and Saif then reminisce over their early episodes, traveling, and the editing process (9:36). T gets into bartering with gypsies before Saif reminds him of their trip to the Grand Canyon (14:55). 2020 was a renaissance for our hosts (19:27), as they reveal their weekly recording schedule and share their love of Yuengling (25:33). T emphasizes how seriously they take this show (31:55), and Saif plans his next excursion to Presque Isle State Park (36:10). T and Saif return to Utah and gypsies, before taking a fun tangent overseas to visit the cathedral of Notre Dame (39:35). Saif shares a story he's never told T about the woman of Moab (49:45), before sharing his insights and hearing about T's Oprah moment (55:48).

This episode is the first of our Behind-The-Scenes series, and focuses on how our two beloved hosts came to meet. They give you a glimpse at two men behind a curtain (1:40), before diving deep into their introductions and subsequent visits (3:17). Saif was not a fan at first (12:09), but T has grown on him enough that he met him in Cleveland and they recorded their Demo episode in 2018 (18:05).

In our 45th episode of the show, our hosts invite our guest from EPISODE 1 back to hone in on mental health. Sweet T shares his personal experiences with depression and suicide (2:09), before he Tee's Off on his trash men (7:58). T gets back on track and discusses his history of self-harm and Saif notes that violent behavior is normalized through media (13:58). The guys bring up concussions and their role in emotional behaviors, while sharing some of their best headshots (18:54). Next, the conversation goes global as they take a look at how other cultures treat mental health (28:49). This causes an inward reflection as it seems the United States is still struggling compared to the rest of the world (46:25). T brings up the trash rocket (50:15) again before concluding that a good support structure is key to anyone’s growth (54:17). The episode ends with a brief look addiction and a shout-out to this week’s small business, Allen Printing (1:00:55).

Welcome to the 44th episode of the Catch The Sky Podcast. When we discussed cancel culture several weeks ago, we didn't realize we were only at the cusp of a societal meltdown over plastic potatoes. Sweet T Tee's Off Pepe Le Pew in our opening segment and how the creators of these characters are missing an opportunity to educate their viewers (1:39). This leads to Saif to bring up how things are contextually viewed based on their date of creation and how children absorb these behaviors (4:15). Our hosts recognize that the behaviors that they are exhibiting are what's more offensive than perhaps their national background, and how that can generate a negative stereotype (7:17). The pair briefly preview their origin story and doing a behind-the-scenes episode (8:25). A tangent about poking cat's buttholes leads to the observation that tolerating depictions of assault is part of the larger patriarchal hegemony that promotes a certain subset of our culture's dominion over the rest (9:40). Sweet T thinks this is the sad reality of who we are as a species, and holds the creators of these characters accountable (15:07). This idea spills into reality as they ponder why Christopher Columbus is still celebrated and how to give proper historical context to things (19:57). The conversation broadens as our hosts weigh the pro's and con's of a conversation that challenges the historical narrative (30:41).

Dick is back for a long overdue episode regarding women's voices in our modern society. She begins by educating us about the various causes that are highlighted in March, including women's history and endometriosis awareness (3:17). Next, she goes for the jugular, pointing out the biggest reason men don't seem to care about what women say (5:12). This observation leads our hosts to compare how men and women are perceived differently in a variety of environments (11:18). Unfair criticism by men probably stems from mommy issues, and leads our hosts to analyze Britney Spears' situation (18:26). Saif's research brings us back to the power struggle between genders (27:04), which is most likely a result of the constant objectification of women (34:07). Dick considers going solo with her own show, but admits that it would be more successful with the help and support of others (38:15). Lil Kim inspires our hosts to take a look at the words that compose our English dictionary (44:05). As usual, our calls for equality start with a conversation and listening to others who are different from you (54:56). Dick finishes with a few more facts on vac's before we end this week's show (1:02:11).
