Yes indeed. Season three of Catch You Outdoors is off and running! This episode is a highlight reel of the past two years along with some future plans for year three. Thanks to everyone for listening over the past two years!

The title is twofold. This is the last episode of season 2 on Catch You Outdoors. Season 3 begins next week. It's also a reference to the quiet time here in the Keys and other Florida locations with the end of summer. Locals get a breather.

The title came about after reading an article that said the Florida Keys are made up of 1700 islands. I kind of doubted that, but then found evidence that that's actually a pretty good number. In this podcast are also some observations of why people come to the Keys, continue to come, and sometimes don't go home. We many soon need 1700 islands to hold them all.

Jimmy Buffett's passing hit me kind of hard. I've been a long time fan. Yep, since 1973. This podcast is a bit of reminiscing about his music and the amazing sendoff he was given in Key West on Sunday September 3rd.

This one is a bit shorter than most, but what I have to say about the weather down here in the Keys can be said like this... It's nice.

August is upon us and the tourist are mostly headed home. It's time for the kids to go back to school.
