Catching the last wave episodes
- Introduction - Climate Security in the Pacific podcast
Welcome to the "Catching the last wave" podcast!
Developed by the Climate Security in the Pacific project team with the generous funding of the UN Secretary-General’s Peacebuilding Fund (PBF).
Together we will explore the complex correlation between climate change and security and how it is already and will continue shaping the life of communities and people in the Pacific.
We hope to raise your awareness of climate security and foster effective dialogue on the issue. We will have guests providing views and voices to deepen the understanding of how, when and why climate-related security risks arise and how they can be managed.
Stay tuned and don't hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] or at the UNDP Pacific Twitter profile.
Enjoy!

About Catching the last wave
From the publisher's feed
Climate Change is the defining issue of our time, and we are at a defining moment.
It undermines human security and acts as a threat multiplier, exacerbating existing vulnerabilities.
Whether we like it or not, it is a question of when -not if- we will have to deal with the security impacts of climate change.
We will provide insight into how climate change is already and will continue shaping the way we live, deepening the knowledge of how, when and why climate security risks arise and how we can manage the risks.
Let’s catch the last wave and take the last opportunity for climate actions!
