I had the priviledge and opportunity to catch up with my first and only wrestling coach, a man who not only trained me how to wrestle but also taught me how to find myself as a person. I first started training with Justin around the beginning of 2009 until the later part of 2011 and these were truly the years where I grew from a boy into a young man. He taught his students how to be tough, strong but also do the right thing. I took this chance to ask him questions about his entry into the wrestling business, as a champion amateur wrestler who then progressed into being a two time British heavyweight champion. After a fantastic career as a wrestler, he was still able to continue his craft as a coach. This eventually turned into the development of his school JRSW (Justin Richards School of Wrestling) which was not only the best school in the country at the time, but developed some of the best pool of talent when it came to wrestlers. To this day everyone who has trained under Justin is proud to have been cut from that cloth and like myself, still value his lessons he taught us and carry it into all areas of life.
