Catchment groups, projects, events, research, science, field days, and more, Catchment Convos. I'm Rachael Halder, your host and Senior Catchment Coordinator with Thriving Southland. With so much to share and lots in the pipeline, Catchment Convos is a podcast where we're going to talk about all things catchment groups. Whether you're a farmer, a local, or just someone curious about the work and happenings of catchment groups here in Southland, this show is for you.
This podcast has started to help share and spread the word of the incredible stories and projects happening right here in Southland. We're talking real grassroots stuff. Farmers, communities, and industries rolling up their sleeves and making a difference from the ground up. There's too much to share over a coffee or at a field day. So, we thought we'd break it down into groups, projects, research, and ideas so you can listen when you've got a minute, when you're in the tractor, or you're out and about.
Each episode, we'll be bringing on different guests. We'll be chatting with experts, farmers, catchment group members, project leads, and those who are leading their initiatives. Hearing about the challenges, the wins, and the practical tips that you can take away to your own group or your own piece of paradise. Sharing a little bit more and giving you the chance to hear what's going on in and around Southland. We're going to try and cover it all.
So hit that subscribe button, check out the website or social media, and join me every new episode for a Catchment Convo, see what guests will be having on and what topics we'll be covering off. Look forward to chatting.
