Elsa Fokken shares her conversion experience to the Catholic faith. She talks about God reaching out to her from the other side of the veil while growing up. After having children, she and her husband simultaneously came to the decision that the Catholic faith needed to be central to their lives. She was welcomed into the Church at the Easter Vigil in 2026.

The upcoming Taste the Goodness event on Aug 1 benefits the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House. Madeline Shield, the executive director, joins the show to talk about how the BDHH serves the community. She’s also joined by Scott, a guest of the house, who talks about his experiences and the joy of helping other guests.
