Today we have Jemmy Cato who, on Sunday, September 9th, 1739 lead the biggest insurrection of enslaved people against British Colonizers in North America during what they call "The Stono Rebellion"

I also really love they way Michael Harriet tells the story in his book "Black AF History" (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) and my story (as well as my understanding of history) is heavily influenced by his account(s).
