Catterall-Taylor: Incompetence, corruption or just a difference of opinion?

Listen Later

A SUPERB performance from Jack Catterall was not rewarded with victory. Instead, Josh Taylor was named the winner in one of the most controversial British boxing decisions in recent memory.

Robert Smith, General Secretary of the British Boxing Board of Control, explains why the decision  has to be investigated and what that investigation will entail.

This should be a crucial moment when the industry collectively says enough is enough. It should be the moment when we get sick and tired of accusations of corruption and clean up our act. Time will tell.

We look ahead to Roman Gonzalez-Julio Cesar Martinez. Every week we celebrate the anniversary of a famous or noteworthy bout in history - this week we go back to 2003 and the night when Roy Jones Jr defeated John Ruiz.
