Farm fatalities in Australia have more than doubled over the past 12 months, and serious injuries have gone up from 11 to 62 fatalities in Queensland alone.

Queensland cattle farmer Steve Rode shared with Carla Bignasca on 4BC afternoons his experience of when he was injured on his remote property without a phone signal or landline.
