    We hit the mark and never looked back. Another week of even higher prices. Hopefully we'll be able to sustain them this year without some catastrophic event to interrupt the cattle market like the past few years. We could sure use some stability over volatility!

  • Episode 59: CASH PRICES on Calves SOARED This Week I Cattle Reform Bill ReInto
    Big volume decrease through the sale barn, but that's expected this time of year. Calf prices took off and were $2 - $3 higher; butcher prices were nearly the same as last week. An important cattle reform (bipartisan) bill was reintroduced in D.C. this week - The Cattle Price Transparency Act is what it's called. It's a good thing. Hopefully The American Beef Labeling Act (aka: MC.O.O.L) will follow suit. We need more protection for our nation's cattle producers.
