Causing Effect: Being a Catalyst for Change

Listen Later

Creating change starts with inspiring people, but needs to include helping them move past doubts and fear of change. That means you need to be the catalyst- the constant that produces change without being changed. Listen in to learn how.

  1. Catalysts show others what's possible by bringing together the right mix of people and activities and activating them.
  • Action happens naturally when there is alignment about what change needs to happen and why.
  • People may initially buy in but eventually resist change because it moves them out of their comfort zone. Your job is to keep holding the vision for them and giving them permission to step outside the system.
  • Go from cause and effect to causing an effect by helping people to feel confident and inspired even as they encounter doubts, fears or lack of acceptance from their peer group. Remember that everyone feels more comfortable when they return to their set point, even if it's not serving them.
  • Stay Inspired,

    Angela
