In this episode we are joined by Tecla Ciolfi. Tecla (better known as Texx) is a music journalist, founder & editor of Texx and the City, host of the wildly popular music podcast Texx Talks, chef, event producer, and diehard Arsenal fan (that's important!!!). Texx has been a pillar of the music industry in South Africa for well over the last decade, profiling and showcasing the brightest young stars, industry legends and underground talents on the scene. Behind the scenes she's had a hand in so many influential artists, comeups, shows and projects it's hard to encompass them all.

In this episode we are joined by Candice Horn & Kola Gbolahan.  As the founders of one of Cape Town's favourite venues, The Commons, both Candice and Kola have a wealth of music, eventing, curation and community-building experience. The Commons is one of the cities most vibrant and varied cultural hotspots, showcasing a wide variety of artists, creators, entrepreneurs and brands through their space and expansive offering.

Zander is deeply passionate about the growth of our music industry and has contributed to the growth of many musicians' careers.

Mila is a 19-year-old singer/songwriter born and bred in Cape Town, South Africa and signed to Platoon - an artist services, A&R, and music distribution company owned by Apple Inc. With diary-style lyrics that peel back the curtain on her personal experiences, Mila has a soulful heart-on-sleeve sound and soaring emotional vocals that express a maturity and storytelling ability beyond her young years. We've worked with Mila a few times, and love her perspective, passion and attitude, beyond her obvious talent, so we just had to have her on as a part of season 2 of the CAYACast!
