The Scottish Lobbying Act comes into force on 12 March 2018 and will require any person or organisation that engages in ‘regulated lobbying’ with Scottish Ministers, MSPs, Scottish Government Special Advisers or the Scottish Government Permanent Secretary to record their engagement in an online register maintained by the Scottish Parliament.
