One time, Jesus was confronted by the religious leaders over one of their traditions. Jesus spoke several parables for his defense against doing something different. And, it highlights a spiritual truth about what is required if we want to see God do something new in our lives.

How should we theologically understand God through these wildfires? Why would He allow this? What should we be doing?

John the Baptist knew Jesus was the Messiah, but he waited 30 years until Jesus revealed himself. He didn't know when Jesus would show up, but his message was simple. Prepare the Way. How do you prepare the way for Jesus so that you're ready when the Lord comes in his blessing for this next year?

John now starts to see 7 visions, and the first is about the coming of a baby. This isn't the typical Christmas sermon that we're used to, but it's the version that we find in Revelation.
