It's official, Vice President Kamala Harris is the Democratic nominee for president, becoming the first woman of color at the top of a major party ticket. It was an emotional return of three Americans to U.S. soil overnight, following one of the largest prisoner swaps with Russia since the end of the Cold War. The Labor Department says the U.S. added 114,000 jobs last month, far below expectations, while the unemployment rate jumped to 4.3 percent.
