Vice president Kamala Harris arrived in North Carolina bearing some big promises. The vice president took the economic fight to Donald Trump with an emphasis on populism in a state Democrats haven't won since 2008. Thousands of Democrats are on their way here for the start of the convention on Monday, but city officials and lawn furs and officers also tell us they are preparing for tens of thousands of mostly pro-Palestinian protesters to be in the streets nearby to protest over the course of the four days of the convention.
