Singleness is unwandering (we have a mission!), undivided devotion (fully focussed on the Lord), yet...singleness can sometimes be unwanted.

How do we wait with trust in God? How do we handle a season (if not now, maybe in the future) of unwanted singleness?

If we want to mine the riches of the Bible, we have to know the story. This week we finished up the major chronological plot line of the Bible to equip us to love God's Word and benefit deeply from it.

Tonight we did things a bit different, and instead of a sermon, we studied the Bible out loud together. We followed some simple steps to dig for the riches, gold, and sweet honey of God's Word in a passage I didn't want us to pass too quickly over.

God has a plan for your joy, the joy of gospel partners around the world, and the joy of all peoples everywhere. The plan centers around locking arms in the gospel. Let's pursue it together.

If we want to learn anything about honoring God in our singleness and in our pursuit of marriage, we need to know how fully loved and cherished we are in Christ. A non-fragile identity is the glorious basecamp for our trek of walking with God in all seasons of life.

Before we jump into the storyline and themes of the Bible, we have to know what the Bible IS. It is not an encyclopedia, self-help book, merely historical textbook, or a fiction novel. It claims supernatural power to transform us.

Let's joyfully enter into the powerful epic of the Bible, that we would be forever changed.

A few times each year we have youth group dedicated to prayer. This week we spent some time thinking about developing a normal culture of praying together and praying often.

and there are 5 commands to obey that will keep our lives prioritized on the right things....

We need God's regenerating and empowering work to obey these commands that cause our life to be about what matters most. Lord help us walk in the freedom you've purchased to live like this!

In this last of Jadon's series to us in Revelation's letters to the churches, we see an example of a healthy church who proclaims Christ no matter the persecution.
