In this study, Josh continues in 1 Kings 17:8-16 where God tells Elijah to go to Zarephath which is where the Lord would refine Elijah even more as Elijah had just been alone focusing on his private life with God. Elijah is then told that a poor widow will take care of him and we see the faith of this widow as Elijah tells her to make him bread although she doesn't have enough oil and flower but God provides and they eat for many days. So I ask you how is your faith being refined and are you submitting to the Lord?

In this study, Josh continues in 1 Kings 17:2-7 where we see God tell Elijah to go hide and that He will provide for Elijah with water from the brook and that ravens would bring him food. We can see through this that where God guides he provides. Elijah learned to depend on God for daily nourishment deepening his walk with the Lord. So I ask do you lean on the Lord daily asking for Him to come along side you?

In this study, Josh looks at 1 Kings 17:1 where we start to see the life of Elijah who is a great prophet but a man just like us and had fears but ultimately put his faith in God Elijah new that God is living and was aware of his presence causing him to live the way he did. So I ask you this does the way you live your life show that you're aware of God's presences.

In this study, Josh continues in 1 Corinthians 11:17-34 where we first see Paul speak on the community and how they are disorderly separating themselves and the rich taking all the food for when they come together and leaving little or nothing for the poor. Paul then speaks on communion and how it should be taken properly as you are bringing judgment on yourself when taking it in an unworthy manner. So I ask you to look back, look ahead, look within, and look around before you take communion.

In this study, Josh continues in 1 Corinthians 11:2-16 where we see Paul now speak on Corinth' s disorder in public worship. We see how the authority is built from God down to man then to women but as Josh explains that doesn't mean that one is greater than the other. Paul speaks on the men covering their heads while praying and prophesies, likewise the women uncovering their heads which associated them with things that were not of Christ like prostitution so through this teaching we can see Paul explain how a man should be a man and a women should be a women.

In this study, Josh goes over Isaiah 55:1-9 where he speaks on what it is to Live for the Lord and uses seven words to break down a process in which we go through. This study is a great way to reflect on ourselves and realize where we need to work on our walks with Christ.

In this study, Josh goes through Joshua 3:1-17 where we see Joshua and the children of Israel struggle to get through the Jordan and seemed like an impossible task but through their faith in the Lord and willingness to listen they make it through. We can see through this the children of Israel taking a step of faith and so I ask you what step of faith does God want you to take?
