Legos - the children’s building blocks - may be part of the key in understanding the kingdom of God. This Sunday, we will take the Lego Relationship Assessment. We’ll also study the assembling of David’s men in 1 Samuel 22:1-5 and the account of the Rich Young Ruler in Matthew 19:16-30. Each will challenge and equip us to make space for the kingdom relationships. In this context, we will also discuss an important potential change to our Sunday School experience here at CCPC.

Jesus says that the church should be our family. We throw this language around casually without often realizing the power and controversy of Jesus’ assertion. In the strong-group culture of first century Israel, there is no more important group than family. What then does it mean that we, as the church, are the family of God?

We need Spiritual Intimacy, Spiritual Togetherness and Redeemable Community.

We must recognize that we are part of something larger than ourselves.
