The Chinese Communist Party, or CCP, will celebrate its 75th anniversary on October 1st, but it finds itself in a precarious situation economically.  The CCP is attempting to address these issues with a sweeping reform package in the hope to stimulate the economy and stoking nationalism to have society focus on common achievements and enemies instead of economic troubles it is facing.
