Hello gang! We missed all of you and wanted to provide you with an update of our happenings in Semper Portareland. Or Portateland. Thank you for the continued kind reviews and as always Semper Portate! Al & Dagny

We are back! This podcast is about the parallels between shooting a firearm and shooting a camera. We also are happy to be the first podcast (to our knowledge) to talk in depth about Steyr Arms and more specifically Al's new favorite carry gun, the Steyr S9-A1 pistol. Is this polymer pistol the polymer pistol you wish you had? Find out by listening to this Steyr podcast. As always, thanks for listening. Semper Portare! Or is it Semper Portate? Take a listen. We will explain. Al & Dagny

Join us as we talk about the rules of gun safety and how to dry fire properly. We also give a shout out to a show in Chicago and we will also quickly talk about Massad Ayoob and his 2013 schedule of training. Thanks for listening and SEMPER PORTARE! Al & Dagny

Welcome to 2013! Join us as we talk about our experience with the customer service of Daniel Defense, our motto for the coming year, and our thoughts on the tragedy that occurred in Connecticut. Hello, thanks for your patience! We have big news as Al trades in a gun. What did he trade in? And what did he get in return? Take a listen to find out! Sorry it took us so long to get an episode up -- you were all missed. Semper Portare! Al & Dagny

Happy Independence Day! Today we're covering a variety of home defense subjects.

Gila Hayes' book, Personal Defense for Women, is a great resource for any woman thinking about her own defense, from effectively preventing or avoiding situations that would call for the use of force to finding the right firearm and getting the appropriate training. One consideration we all share for personal defense is defense in the home, and Gila devotes a whole chapter to these various issues, which we dip into here.

Thanks for listening and Semper Portare! Al & Dagny

The CCW Podcast is back!
