Have you ever said, "Enough is enough!" in frustration when you wanted something to stop or you could no longer deal with a situation that kept occurring? Over the last several weeks, with the recent events happening in the news, you have likely heard this phrase and many others spoken on national television, around the workplace, or at home with your family and friends.
Today, I want to discuss why I agree with the "enough is enough" movement and explain why I strongly believe that no one deserves to live in fear at home, at school, or in the workplace. I'll explain why I agree with the students that organized and staged walkouts across the United States. I'll also explain how today's organizational leaders are failing themselves, their legacies, as well as their teams by tolerating - and in some cases, participating in - workplace harassment.
"Enough is enough. No one should be in an unsafe environment at home, at school, or at work." - Marguerite O'Neal
