The culture that we live in continually leads us to seek a higher standard of living but a higher standard of living does not equate to quality of life. Quality of life begins by creating the financial margins that affords you the ability to invest more of your heart into God’s kingdom.

The bottom line when it comes to personal finances is that there are two kinds of people, those who make interest off of their money and those who pay interest. The truth is that debt enslaves us and limits our freedom. A major component for creating financial margins is to work towards canceling your debts.

Erroneous assumptions about money have not led us to the happiness, importance, security, and friendships we hoped for. Erroneous assumptions about money have only led us to conflicts and stress. And worst, erroneous assumptions about money have only led our hearts away from God. Nothing battles God for your heart’s devotion more than Money. Money cannot give us lasting peace but the way we manage our money is able to give us the happiness, importance, security, friendships and peace we long for. The issue is not how much you have the issue is what you do with what you have. When we manage our finances from God’s perspective not only do we receive the peace we hope for, also our hearts incline each day more towards Him.

From God’s perspective when it comes to money the question is not, what do you have to show for it? The question is who do you have to show for it?

As administrator, the question in not, how much do you have? The question is what are you doing with what you have? As an administrator the question is, how do I honor God with what I have?
