What is freight? Freight refers to goods, cargo, or commodities that are transported by truck, train, ship, or plane. In trucking, it means the loads (products, materials, supplies) that a driver hauls from one location to another.
How does the number of freight benefit truck drivers and owner operators? It's simple, the more freight you haul the more money you make. The cool thing about getting into the trucking industry is there's always freight coming in and out of the country. Some states wind up with more goods imported than others, more fright, and demand more opportunities which means more jobs!
