  • Relationship Wreckers - Pastor Greg Clark

Anger, lust, and divorce are not random struggles. They are targeted attacks on the relationships God designed for our good. Jesus raised the standard in the Sermon on the Mount, making clear that the problem begins in the heart long before it shows up in behavior. Unresolved anger rots us from the inside out, lust is a perversion of God's design for intimacy, and divorce carries a weight that many people were never meant to carry alone. But no one is beyond forgiveness. Romans 8:1 reminds us there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, and God's grace is available to anyone who brings their failures honestly before Him. The power to overcome these struggles does not come from trying harder. It comes from crying out to God and relying on the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, who lives in every believer.

  • What Jesus Really Said About Anger - Pastor Austin Prince

Anger is something most of us downplay, calling it frustration or irritation rather than what it really is. In Matthew 5, Jesus raises the standard far beyond outward behavior and goes straight to the heart. He connects anger to murder not to minimize one but to show that both begin in the same place. Every person is made in the image of God, and treating someone as worthless is an offense against their Creator. The answer Jesus gives is not self-control alone but reconciliation. Closing the gap between hurt and repair is not weakness. It is obedience, and it is the very thing that disarms the anger that takes root in our hearts.

  • Will You Choose Fear or Faith? - Pastor Lynn Wilson

The story of the twelve spies in Numbers 13 presents one of the clearest pictures in Scripture of the choice between fear and faith. Ten spies returned with a report rooted in fear, while Joshua and Caleb returned with a report rooted in trust in God. The ten disregarded God's goodness, doubted His greatness, disobeyed His Word, and ultimately disqualified themselves from the blessing He had promised. Joshua and Caleb, by contrast, believed God was both good and capable, obeyed His instructions, and eventually experienced the fullness of what He had promised. Their example challenges us to examine where our own trust truly lies when hard circumstances arise. The choice between fear and faith is made one decision at a time.

  • You Are Salt and Light - Pastor Greg Clark

Your identity as a follower of Jesus is not determined by your job, your past, or what others think of you. In Matthew 5:13-16, Jesus declares that His followers are salt and light. These are not goals to strive toward but statements of who you already are. Salt preserves, flavors, and creates thirst. Light exposes darkness and points others to Christ. The danger is that faith can be watered down, especially when what you consume daily shapes you more than Scripture does. You are an ambassador for Christ, and that identity calls for intentional, Spirit-filled living.

  • Rejoice Anyway - Pastor Greg Clark

Life is full of both good days and hard ones, but followers of Jesus have access to something greater than positive thinking or personal resilience. In Matthew 5, Jesus commands His followers to rejoice and be glad even in the middle of persecution and difficulty. That command points to a deliberate choice of posture, not a denial of pain. The peace Jesus offers is not found in circumstances changing but in Him. When we root our joy in Christ rather than in people, achievements, or possessions, we find a source that cannot be taken away. Abiding in Jesus daily is not a suggestion but a command, and it is the key to navigating both the good days and the hard ones with genuine peace.

  • Are You Spiritually Mature? - Pastor Frank Valenzano

Spiritual maturity isn't about age or church attendance—it's about being encouraged in heart, united in love, and having complete understanding of Jesus Christ. Paul warns believers to avoid two dangerous extremes: religious legalism that adds requirements to faith, and worldly permissiveness that ignores God's call to holiness. True growth happens when we receive Jesus as Lord, continue living in Him, become rooted and built up in faith, and overflow with thankfulness. Mature believers naturally share their faith and are characterized by gratitude rather than grumpiness. Like learning to play an instrument, salvation is just the beginning—God wants us to grow beyond spiritual infancy into deeper maturity and greater service.

  • Peacemakers - Pastor Greg Clark

In a world filled with conflict and uncertainty, true peace seems elusive. Biblical peace isn't just the absence of conflict—it's wholeness and contentment that comes from being in right relationship with God. We're born into this world as sinners, naturally hostile toward God, but Jesus made peace possible through His sacrifice on the cross. When we accept Christ, our position changes from enemy to child of God. The peace we experience is proportional to how much we trust God, following the commands in Philippians 4:4-7 to rejoice, remember God's nearness, and replace anxiety with prayer. This supernatural peace guards our hearts and minds, enabling us to live above our circumstances rather than under them.

  • Pure in Heart - Pastor Austin Prince

Jesus challenges our understanding of purity in Matthew 5:8, revealing that true spiritual purity goes far beyond external behaviors and religious performance. While first-century religious leaders focused on outward compliance with rules, Jesus addresses the heart condition that matters most to God. Biblical purity isn't about being good enough or following a checklist of behaviors - it's about being completely clean and spotless before God. The sobering reality is that we cannot achieve this purity on our own, as our hearts are naturally deceitful and impure. However, through Christ's perfect life and sacrificial death, He makes true purity possible for us, offering open access to God and the blessing of experiencing His presence both now and eternally.

  • Mercy Multiplied - Pastor Greg Clark

Mercy is God withholding the wrath we deserve, while grace gives us what we don't deserve. Jesus perfectly demonstrated mercy throughout His ministry and ultimately at the cross, taking upon Himself the punishment we deserved.

As recipients of God's rich mercy, which is renewed every morning, we are called to extend that same mercy to others. This happens through forgiving those who have wronged us and showing kindness to those in need. Living mercifully requires intentionality - keeping our eyes open for opportunities to help others and respond when God prompts us to act.

When we let mercy flow through us, we reflect Christ's heart and create opportunities for the gospel to transform lives.
