On this episode of the Beyond the Helmet we are joined by former pro bowler and 4x team captain of the Bengals, Cedric Peerman.

Cedric Peerman was having a great career at the University of Virginia until he had a severe injury which sidelined him and his NFL dreams. It was through this experience that he really found his faith as a Christian and forged a road ahead. The new Cedric came back from his injury, got on the field and worked his way into being drafted in the NFL.

It wasn’t easy once he made it to the big show. He got an opportunity to make it with the Bengals and he never looked back. As a reserve running back and special teams star, he made the team and was named a captain for 4 of his seasons in Cincinnati along with earning a trip to the Pro Bowl. We talk about this journey and his life since playing
