Emmy The Great has announced a new solo album, a love letter to Hong Kong.

‘April / 月音’, her fourth album, will be released on October 9 via Bella Union as her new song  ‘Dandelions / Liminal’ is online now.

The songwriter, who returned to her birth city Hong Kong in 2018, last released a solo record in 2017, and since then has been kept busy with her film and television work.

Netflix has renewed historical action series The Last Kingdom for a fifth season.

The 10-part season will be based on books nine and ten of Bernard Cornwell's best-selling series of novels, The Saxon Stories.

According to the synopsis, the fifth season will see "Uhtred realise his destiny is more than just Bebbanburg: it is tied to the future of England itself.

The series is based on “The Saxon Stories” novels by Bernard Cornwell. It follows the adventures of Uhtred of Bebbanburg (Alexander Dreymon), a warrior born a Saxon but raised as a Dane, in ninth and tenth century England. Uhtred becomes an unlikely ally of King Alfred of Wessex (David Dawson) and his family as the king seeks to unite all the kingdoms of England under one ruler as Vikings ravage the country.

The latest episode of Billie Eilish and her dad Patrick's "me & dad radio" on Apple Music featured an extra special guest, Eilish's mom Maggie.

The installment focused primarily on music from the 18-year-old star's childhood, including Rob Dickinson, Melody Gardot and, of course, Justin Bieber.

Transformers is one of those communism-esque franchises in the sense that it sounds good on paper but perhaps not so much in practice. “Oh, warring alien robots that can transform into vehicles and animals?! Fantastic! Netflix just dropped the latest trailer for Transformers: War for Cybertron: Siege, the first in a planned three-show series (of six episodes each) it’s developed with Hasbro, Rooster Teeth, and Godzilla: Monster Planet’s Polygon Pictures.

They’re doing this with Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy. But while the latest epic trailer for the new series promises an entirely new animated look for the Autobots and Decepticons, it will explore the story that led them to leave their home planet behind in the first place.
