The wild and despicable origin story of the Moabites and Ammonites. The Israelites are instructed later to not ally with, seek the peace or prosperity of these enemies. There are some spiritual and practical applications evident for modern believers.

Genesis 19 includes the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and multiple bad decisions by Lot. All fathers can learn from Lot's terrible example and NOT repeat his mistakes!
