The Warner Archive's George Feltenstein and Warner Bros archivist Jeff Briggs join the podcast to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Warner Bros on April 4th, by reviewing many of the classic films released by the Warner Archive on DVD or Blu-ray.  We start with silent classics from 1924 and make our way through the Vitaphone Varieties, the Jazz Singer, and into the talkies.  Then we touch on the Forbidden Hollywood releases, Busby Berkeley musicals, and gangster pics.  We also review some of the major stars of the first two decades of the studio's history, including John Barrymore, Al Jolson, Edward G. Robinson, James Cagney, Errol Flynn, and someone often called the 5th Warner Brother - Bette Davis.  These classic films on DVD and Blu-ray represent most of the best of classic Warner Bros and are the films that led to the early success that cemented Warner Bros as a major Hollywood Studio.
