Financially speaking, the PPI inflation numbers came in a bit hot, cooling off the idea of aggressive rate cuts. A .50% cut was never really in the cards, but a .25% cut is still likely. Looking ahead, we're preparing for a weak September. David doesn't want to be fully uninvested but does plan to raise a little more cash in portfolios—around 10–12%.
